The Prentiss Headlight—The annual Memorial Day Service was moved inside Monday due to inclement weather. Guest speaker for the event was Colonel Charlie M. Thornton, Mississippi Army National Guard, Retired. Mr. Walt Moeller (USA, Retired), of the Prentiss Lions Club, was Master of Ceremonies

The Prentiss Headlight—The Color Guard from the Prentiss High School Junior ROTC Battalion presented the Colors as Mr. Kayron Berry sang the National Anthem

The Prentiss Headlight—Karrie Sue McPhail, a member of the Catholic Youth Organization at St. Peter's Catholic Church, places a flag on the grave of a JDC Veteran. Flags were placed on all Veterans' graves in Carson & Bassfield.
