There will be several new administrative faces in Jefferson Davis Schools this year.

Carrie Hammond Walker will be principal at J.E. Johnson. She served as the principal of Durant Public School last year, but has been with Jefferson Davis County in previous years as the assistant principal and Algebra I teacher at Prentiss High.

William Wheat comes from Marion County School District and will be the Bassfield High School assistant principal.

Willie Armstrong is back as principal of Prentiss High School and is looking forward to being back home with his Bulldog family and working with everyone in the community once again.
