The Alabama vs. Notre Dame game was not as exciting as hoped as far as seeing a good game is concerned. For that matter, the PBS drama Downton Abbey was much more exciting for those in love with the English soap opera. But forget televison and football (at least until the Superbowl). Basketball season in this county is rocking. All three schools have great teams and will provide edge-of-your-seat entertainment.

The second half of the 2012-13 season has begun (see schedule on page 12), so get out of the recliner and head over to your favorite gymnasium to support your favorite player, your favorite team and your favorite school.
