Judith Posey Mahalak, age 70, of Prentiss, passed from this life on October 17, 2013. She was born on May 31, 1943, to parents Florence Yokam and John Posey.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence Warren Mahalak III (Michelle); daughters, Pam Jordan (Jan) and Virginia Mize (Kevin, Sr.); brother, Douglas Posey (Carla); and five grandsons.

Her family and friends will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
