Louise Downer Acy, age 87 of Silver Creek, died November 5, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services were held November 8 at Monticello United Methodist Church in Monticello. Burial was in New Hebron City Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jeffrey Graves, Trey Graves, Brandon Havis, Trevor Havis, Mike Stamps, and Sam Lawrence.

Survivors include daughters, Linda Dianne Acy, Silver Creek, Shirley Jane Acy, Houston, TX; sons, Norris Ardell Acy, Jr., Silver Creek, Jimmy Lee Acy of Aurora, CO; sister, Ruth Downer, Houma, LA; seven grandchildren, Daphne Havis and Trey Graves of Monticello, Jeffrey Wade Graves of Houston, TX, Michael Justin Stamps of Elk City, OK, Stephen James Acy, Aurora, CO, Christopher Norris Acy in College at Lawrence University WI, Jeremiah Jade Acy, Canton, PA; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Downer and Elizabeth Herring Downer; her husband, Norris Acy; two brothers, and three sisters.
