Tickets for the 2013 State Championship football game in Jackson are available to the public at a discounted rate of $12 if purchased through Bassfield High School. Admission is $13 at the gate at Veterans Memorial Stadium. “The more tickets we sell, the more it helps our school,” said BHS Principal John Daley. Tickets may be purchased at the BHS school office until Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and sales will continue at the junior varsity basketball game to be held in the gymnasium until 7:00 p.m. Thursday night. Tailgating will be allowed in the parking  lot on a first come, first served basis. There no charge for tailgating. The MS High School Activities Association requests that everyone enter the stadium at the North West Street Entrance (from I-55 take Woodrow Wilson Drive to North West Street).

School Closure – Schools will dismiss students early on Friday. The exact time of dismissal was not available at press time. (Prentiss Christian School will not be in session on Friday due to a teacher’s conference).

Radio Broadcast – In addition to the televised broadcast on MPB, the game will be on WCJU FM-Radio 104.9 hosted by local on-air talent Keith Bridges and Ethan Lee.
