The Prentiss First Baptist Church Family is hosting its fourth annual “Praying Time In The City” Revival on Monday, January 6 through Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 7:15 pm nightly. Everyone is invited to attend and lift up the name of Jesus as we come together to pray for our communities, towns, county, state, country, and the world as a whole.

The theme comes from 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says, “If my people, which are called by name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from there wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Pastor Ronald Barnes stated, “There is so much going on and so many people are in need of prayer, guidance and deliverance. We need to look to the source of our strength and turn to God for our answers.” The guest speakers are Pastor Chester Hopkins of Greater Antioch MB Church of Hattiesburg on Monday night; Pastor John Lockett of BridgePointe Church of Magee on Tuesday night; Pastor Gerald Hudson of Holly Springs CME Church of Bassfield on Wednesday night; and Pastor Phil Clark of St. Paul MB Church of Silver Creek on Thursday night.
