Parker Martin kicked off the game with a swift throw in. Goalies for Saturday’s game were Aubrey Evans, Gavin Walker, Mary Ella Bass, Corbin Stamps, and Parker Martin. Three goals were made by Mary Ella Bass and Gavin Walker.

Comedy arrived in the midst of the game by two-year-old Jemma Snellgrove, “Mama by ball got dirty will you wash it?”

Landyn Williams, the teams youngest male player played a little only to go souring in the direction of his Pop Pop who had just arrived to watch little man play. In the words of Phil Robertson, “He gone.”

Last Saturday’s game was not your only chance to get a glimpse of these aspiring athletes. The season will continue on January 25, February 15 and 22, March 8 and 15. All games will be played at 10:15 a.m. at the field adjacent to the Prentiss Community Center.

First fundraiser for the team will begin the weekend of January 25 with a raffle. Raffle to be won will consist of a free color, cut, and style. See a team member’s mom for details.
