Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Holly Springs CME Church, Bassfield, for Mr. Henry Booth, age 72, who died Wednesday, January 15, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Rev. Gerald Hudson officiated with interment following in the Booth Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Henry Booth was born to the late Hattie Donaldson Booth and Breland Booth in Bassfield. He joined Holly Springs CME. Church at an early age and remained until his death.

He was married to Rosetta Harper Booth for 44 years.

He was preceded in death by seven siblings.

He is survived by wife, Rosetta Booth; three children, Yolanda Reese of Bassfield, Rita Singleton of Clinton, and Mark (Brenda) Harper of Bassfield; two brothers, Hollie (Frankie) Booth of Tylertown and Robert (Bobbie) Booth of Hazelhurst; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
