Prentiss High basketball teams have been struggling lately. Coming into the week, girls and boys were on a three-game losing streak. Due to bad weather, snow and ice, the game scheduled with McLaurin on Tuesday was postponed until Saturday. They would travel to St. Andrews on Friday.

The girls’ game was a blowout from the beginning. Prentiss was leading by 15 points at the half. Joy Powell and Myyah West would lead Prentiss to a 60-24 victory.
