Hugh “Allen” Hanberry

Services were held Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Blue Bonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX, for Hugh “Allen” Hanberry. Mr. Hanberry, age 53, died April 2 at Dallas Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, TX, following a short illness.

Mr. Hanberry was born on October 17, 1960, in Jackson, MS, to Faye and the late Hugh Hanberry. Due to the oil field boom in the early 1970s, his parents moved him and his four siblings to Texas. While in Texas he met the love of his life, Sharon Meason. After moving throughout the south, the Hanberry’s landed in Euless, TX. Allen had many careers including oil field roughneck, delivery driver and finally a computer programmer.
Aside from work, he had many hobbies including coaching baseball, camping, fishing, golfing, and cooking. Allen’s most treasured past time was spending time with his wife and children.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Hugh White Hanberry.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; daughter, Lacie Harchaoui of Cedar Park, TX; sons, Kristopher Hanberry of Dallas, TX, and Tyler Hanberry of Lubbock, TX; granddaughter, Everly; his mother, Faye Hanberry of Prentiss, MS; four siblings, Kathy Madrid of Denton, TX, Pam Luck of Midland, TX, Paul Hanberry of Prentiss, MS, and Sheryl Starr of Prentiss, MS.
