Mstr. J’Mirion Marquez Easterling, age 4, died Monday afternoon, April 21, 2014, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Services for Mstr. Easterling were held on Friday, April 25, at the Mt. Carmel MB Church with Pastor James Dampeer and Rev. Robert Ross officiating. Interment was in the Griffith Cemetery, with Laird Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Mstr. Easterling was the son of Jimmie Magee, Jr. and Sheetara Easterling of Prentiss. He was an active student at the Five County Headstart Center, and attended Mt. Carmel Church with his family.

After a number of heart adjusting and other surgeries, little J’Mirion answered the calling of his Lord to start his everlasting life in his new glorified body.

Mstr. Easterling’s survivors include his mother, Sheetara Easterling of Prentiss; father, Jimmie Magee, Jr.; two brothers Jacvious Magee and Jimmon Magee, both of Monticello; two grandmothers, Patricia Easterling of Prentiss and Linda (Perry) Davis of Prentiss; two grandfathers, Jimmie Magee and Carl McInnis, both of Prentiss; two aunts Demesha Easterling and Constance Dampier, both of Prentiss; and one uncle LaCarlos Bryant of Prentiss.
