Funeral services were held Saturday, May 3, 2014, for Mr. Darnell Jackson Flowers, age 39, who died Friday, April 18, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Elder James Harrell officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Darnell Jackson-Flowers was born to the late Willie Jackson and Annie Mae Lockhart Flowers in Pasco, WA.  He was the youngest of five children and the only son.
He spent his early years in Washington before moving with his family to Prentiss, MS. He attended Prentiss High School and graduated in 1993.
He had a passion for styling hair and enjoyed life.
He is survived by four sisters, Felecia Lockhart of Seattle, WA, Arlene (Kenny) Bagley of Seattle, WA, Darcy Lockhart of Los Angeles, CA, Michelle Lockhart Flowers of Seattle, WA; many other relatives and friends.
