Michael Butler and Carolyn Longino, both of Prentiss are please to announce the engagement and approaching

marriage of their daughter, Whitley LeeAnn Butler to Demario Derrell Jones, son of Steven Earl Jones of Jackson and Danetta Ann Jones of Prentiss. Both bride and groom are graduates of Prentiss High School.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Troy butler and the late Guysell Butler of the Spring Hill Community and the late Maime Longion and the late James Barnes.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Hazel Hooker and Jo’Nathan Hooker of Prentiss and Mary Joyce Jackson of Prentiss, as well as the late Lessie Mae Jones and the late Willie Jones both of Prentiss.

The ceremony will take place at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church on June 14, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. The reception is to follow immediately after the at the Monticello Civic Center.
