Drugs and money seized

Prentiss Police Officers along with Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Deputies seized drugs and money at a driver’s license safety checkpoint Friday. The checkpoint was at the intersection of Highway 84 and 42 and was part of the “Click-it-or-Ticket” campaign. The suspect had no driver’s license. He gave them permission to search the vehicle and person.
Officers recovered:
6.1 grams of crystal meth (ice)
2.7 grams marijuana
0.7 grams cocaine
$3523 dollars in us currency.
