Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at South Pleasant Hill MB Church for Mr. Bernard Expose, Sr., 52, who died May 21 at his residence. Rev. Ronnie Barnes officiated with interment following in the Expose Family Cemetery, Silver Creek. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bernard Expose, Sr. was born in Jefferson Davis County to Arcola and R.D. Expose. He was a member of South Pleasant Hill MB Church. He completed his education in the Jefferson Davis County School System, graduating class of 1978. He was married to Elizabeth Williams.

He remained a resident of Jefferson Davis County where he developed lifelong friendships and was a faithful employee of Georgia Pacific for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eunice; brother, Cleva; and brother-in-law, Elworth.

He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Williams Expose; children, Bernard, Jr. (Danica), Sharella (Joseph) and Shana; brothers, Rodell (Esterine), Perry, Dennis and Dexter; sisters, Sybil (Raymond), Lottie (ML), Diane (Kermit), Faye (James), Mildred, Shirley and Gail; six grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
