Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine McNair Lockhart, age 52, of Prentiss (formerly of Covington County) were held on July 5, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant CME Church, Mt. Olive. Interment was in the church cemetery.  Reverend James A. Loftin was the eulogist. Reeves Funeral Home, Mt. Olive, was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were Eric Parker, Gary Duckworth, Antonio Duckworth, Wayne McNair, Michael Kinney and Demitrius Gammage.
Mrs. McNair attended Mt. Olive Attendance and was a member of Mt. Pleasant ME Church.
She was employed with R.J. McQueen Construction Company and developed a great desire for driving trucks.
She and her husband started their own trucking service in 2004.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claiborne Earl and Ruby Wolfe McNair.
Survivors include her husband, James Lockhart; son, Damien (Vivian) McNair; daughter, Nicole (fiancé, Fred Pounds); four grandchildren; four step-children; 11 step-grandchildren; four brothers, Willie L. Hydlebburg of Collins, Claiborne Earl (Cassandra) McNair, Bennie McNair and Edward McNair, all of Mt. Olive; six aunts; five uncle, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
