Several injured in three-car accident on Hwy 13 South

A wreck on Highway 13 south of Prentiss left two people in critical condition Monday night.

The accident occurred just south of Old Pleasant Road.Sarah Price, 28 of Columbia was the driver of the white Toyota Camry that was struck head-on by  Donald Lyons, 33 of Magnolia, who was driving a small pick-up truck. Price was ejected on impact.

A restrained passenger, a child, in Price’s vehicle was unharmed. A third vehicle, driven by Sandra Warren, 61 of New Hebron, was struck by flying debris. Life Flight and Rescue 7 were both called to the scene to transport Donald Lyons and his passenger Katrina Lyons, to  Forrest General Hospital.
