The building that housed Beat 5 Supervisor Bobby Rushing’s supplies was struck by lightning Sunday during an afternoon storm.  Fire, smoke and water heavily damaged the building causing a total loss.  Lightning also struck Beat 1 Supervisor Corky Holliman’s building next door, but caused no structural damage.  The buildings are located just outside of town on Highway 13 North.
