This past week the BHS Beta Club participated in the Tackle Hunger Football Challenge to donate canned and non-perishable food items to the Edwards Street Foundation in Hattiesburg. The Foundation provides food for food banks in nine counties in South Mississippi including Jefferson Davis County. The BHS students and community really stepped up to help out the Beta Club. Over 800 cans of food were donated to the food drive. This enabled the BHS Beta Club to win the Tackle Hunger Football Challenge and a $150.00 donation from Smoothie King to the BHS Library.
