The Prentiss Headlight—A wreck on North Williamsburg Road claimed the life of Walter Smith when Tina Hatley’s car collided with Smith sending him into a tree.  Smith was transported to Forrest General Hospital where he died three hours later. Hatley failed to stop and render aid and has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a fatality. She is being held on $20,000 bond.

 

Joni Easterling of Prentiss was killed in a one vehicle accident when the car she was driving left the road and struck a tree. The accident occurred at Old Highway 84 and White Rogers Road.
