Barbara Diane (Mehlberg) Licata, 57, of Prentiss, MS, formerly of Litchfield, IL, died Sun., Oct. 5, 2014, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

She was born on Dec. 11, 1956, in Litchfield, a daughter of Harold John “Boogie” & Helen Ruth (Saulters) Mehlberg. She married Mitchell Angelo Licata in 1986. They later divorced.
She was employed as Director of Housekeeping while working at Hillsboro Health Care Center in Hillsboro, IL. Barb also worked in the medical environmental services field while living in Illinois, Missouri & Idaho. She was a member of Southside Church in Litchfield.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking & baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived Bobby Wilson of Prentiss, MS; one son, Jeremy (Kelly) Davis of Alton, IL; one brother, Donald Mehlberg of Pana, IL; three sisters, Brenda (Bill) Wooten of Valparaiso, IN, Linda Davidson of Litchfield, IL, Sandra Barker of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren, Laney, Lexie & Andrew Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Lonnie Angelo Licata; one brother, James Kenneth Sellers.
Funeral services were held October 11 at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield, IL. Burial was in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.
