Funeral services were held Friday, October 3, 2014, at Springhill MB Church for Mr. Chucky L. Graves who died September 28 at his residence. Rev. Bobby Barnes officiated the interment following in the Springhill Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chucky Graves was born to the late Olevia Graves and Wille L. Graves. He attended school at Beulah Williams and was a member of St. Paul MB Church. He was married to Lynda Toney Graves. He started working at Joe Miles Lumber and then Georgia Pacific until his health failed.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Barnes.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Toney Graves; three children, Jerome (Bell) Daughtry of Silver Creek, Patrick Graves, and Kendrick Graves, both of Prentiss; and many other relatives and friends.
