Eula V. Fortenberry

Graveside services were held Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Stewart Family Cemetery, Silver Creek, Mississippi, for Mrs. Eula Virginia “Bea” Fortenberry, 84, who died Tuesday, September 9, at her daughter’s residence in McComb, Mississippi. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Eula V. Fortenberry was born to the late Harriet Turner in Prentiss, MS. She was a member of Rose Hill MB Church where she was a member of the choir, usher board and the Sims Group.
Mrs. Fortenberry is survived by sons, Clarence Barnes of Houston, Texas, and Cornelius Polk of Tylertown, MS; daughters, Shameka and Shaneka Fortenberry both of McComb; brother, George Barnes of Gulfport; and sister, Earlene Jefferson of Prentiss; 14 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Frances Polk of Prentiss.
