Mariah Buckley Marshall, age 72, of Albany, GA (formerly of Oakvale, MS) were held on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at New Zion MBC, Oakvale, MS. Interment was in the church cemetery. Reeves Funeral Home, of Mt. Olive was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were brothers and nephews.

Mrs. Marshall completed her education in Mississippi and attended Nazarene Bible College Institute, West VA where she received a degree in Child Evangelism. She along with her husband, Rev. Dyke S. Marshall, Jr. were affiliated with the following churches, Rand Bethel Nazarene Institute and Westside Nazarene, West VA. They were co-pastors at North Ash Nazarene, Wichita, Kansas. She received both a CNA and MA license and worked in the health field for 20 plus years. She started the Marshall Jubilees Choir as a lover of music and children.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nathaniel and Emma Buckley, and her husband Dyke Marshall, Jr.

Survivors include four children, Nathan D. Marshall of Kansas City, MO, Ora Maria Marshall of Albany, GA., Garvin (Teresa) Marshall of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Dyke S. Marshall, III of Wichita, KS; siblings, Mary Ann Hudson of Prentiss, Manuel Buckley of Esctawapa, Emma Jean Gilmore of Dixon, CA, Edgar (Nancy) Buckley of Oakvale, Rachel (Berlin) Pittmen of Byram, Ulyssses(Arlene) Buckley of Beaumont, TX, Eric (Regina) Buckley of Fairfield, CA, and Melinda Kinloch of Columbia, SC; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
