Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Rose Posey Milloy, age 64, of Mt. Olive, were held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Harmony MB Church. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pastor M. Demetrius Pittman officiated the services. Reeves Funeral Home, Mt. Olive, was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Milloy passed away November 6 at her residence.

Pallbearers were Taylor Bass, Steven Malloy, Jeremy Holloway, Quisto Benard, Michael Milloy, Jarrod Milloy, Kermit Milloy, Jr., Kevin Milloy and Zachary Milloy. Honorary pallbearers were Percy Posey, Marcus Bass, Archie Malloy, Sr., C.J. Milloy, Elbert Solomon, and Kermit Milloy, Sr.

She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church at an early age and later united with Harmony MBC and served as a faithful member. She served for 16 years as the preparer for the monthly Communion Ceremony and was an active member of the Heroines of Jericho Harmony Court. She was a graduate of Carver Central High School and attended Alcorn A&M College, Lorman, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Purvis and Molly Posey; stepmother, Ancy Bell Posey; and brothers, George Edward Posey and Felton Posey.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Earl Milloy; daughter, Chevonna Milloy Bass (Marcus); grandchildren, Taylor, Keri, and Zach, all of Mt. Olive; brother, Percy Posey of Collins; sister, Thelma Sue(Elbert) Solomon of Americus, GA; sisters-in-law, Jean Posey of Chicago, IL, Carolyn Milloy of Upland, CA, Queen Ester (Willie) Hawkins of Monrovia, CA, and Mary Alice Expose of Memphis, TN; brothers in law, Archie (Edith) Malloy of Mt. Olive and C.J. (Jewell) Milloy of Monrovia, CA; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
