Marcus Lane, age 70, of New Hebron passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014. He was born on January 1, 1944, to Arnold Jackson and Hilda Cone Lane.

Marcus is survived by his wife, Grana Lane; son, Richard Lane, Sr.; daughter, Debi Lane; brothers, Hilton and Sidney Lane; grandchildren, Richard Lane, Jr., Shelby Lane, Patricia Daughdrill and Taylor Daughdrill.

Services were held on Saturday, November 15, at Whitesand Baptist Church in Prentiss, with the Rev. Charles Burnham officiating. Final resting place was in the Whitesand Cemetery.
