Funeral services were held Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Green Grove MB Church for Mrs. Annette Strickland, age 49, who died December 27 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS. Rev. Timothy Rush officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Annette (Nette) Strickland was born to the late Jessie James Hartzog and Dorothy Lee Smith. She was the second child of three children. She was a member of Green Grove MB Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Myeisha (Antonia) Strickland Conley; three sons, Mario (Quleima) Jackson, Clifton (Rochelle) Jackson and Jadarrius Strickland; godson, Jacques Byers; two brothers, Lester (Cherlene) Smith and Jessie Smith; six grandchildren, Angel, Aaliyah, Kadin, Ahimya, Aubrey; many other relatives and friends.
