Funeral services for Annie Faye Womack Blanks, age 61, Mount Olive, MS, were held on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at True Holiness Pentecostal Church, Mount Olive. Interment was in the Harmony MB Church Cemetery. Bishop Marcus Smith, Greater Deliverance Worship Ministry of Prentiss officiated the services. Reeves Funeral Home, Inc., Mount Olive was in charge of the arrangements.
Honorary pallbearers were Mitchell Lee Womack Sr., Reggie Blanks, Claude Womack, Michael Womack, Mark Blanks, David Blanks, and Elester Womack.
Active pallbearers were Vonta Hill, Raymond Womack, Williams Aultman, Curtis Smith Jr., Jarvis Walley, and Cooley Davis.
She attended school in Mt. Olive and Magee, MS.
She was employed for 29 ½ years at Universal Manufactory in Mendenhall and later received her meat-processing license and worked at Piggly Wiggly in Magee.
She was a faithful member of Greater Deliverance Worship Ministry in Prentiss where she served on the usher and mother board.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lee Womack Sr. and Massie Lean Womack; two brothers, Jimmie Lee and Walter Lee Womack Jr., sister, and brother-in-law, Azilean and Jimmie Delancey.
Survivors include, her sons, Mitchell Lee (Wanda) Womack,Sr. of Mt. Olive, Mark Blanks of Atlanta, GA, and Reggie Blanks of Mt. Olive; two brothers, Claude (Jacqueline) Womack of Prentiss and Elester Womack of Mt. Olive; sister, Judy Womack of Blytheville, AR; adopted brother and nephew, Michael (Belinda) Womack of Mt. Olive; a stepson, David Blanks of Mt. Olive; five grandchildren; special friend, Kathy Flowers of Waveland, MS; and a host of relatives and friends.
