Stephen L. Roberts, 46, of Petal, died March 10, 2015, at his home. Services were held March 14 at Petal Harvey Baptist Church. Burial was in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Simpson County.

Mr. Roberts was the owner of Roberts Tile Company and a member of Petal Harvey Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time at his camp with his family and friends. He loved being involved in his sons’ sports programs.

His father, Lamar Roberts, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Roberts of Petal; two sons, Austin Roberts and Blake Roberts; his mother and stepfather, Jerrye & Richard Bagley of Petal; one brother, Scott Roberts (Donna) of Atlanta, GA; two nieces, Kara & Katelyn Roberts; his aunt, Patricia Becton of Prentiss & her son Jody Fortenberry (Danielle); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
