Anessia Nicole “Nikki” Daniels

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 25, 2015, at South Pleasant Hill MB Church for Miss Anessia Nicole “Nikki” Daniels, 43, who died Saturday, April 18, in Gulfport. Rev. Robert Collins officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Cook-Galloway Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Anessia Nicole “Nikki” Daniels was born to Connie Daniels Barnes and Alfred Barnes in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was a 1989 graduate of Prentiss High School and was a member of South Pleasant Hill where she was a member of the choir and was an usher.

Miss Daniels worked with Circle S Construction, BC Rogers, Fed-Ex and as a truck driver. Her current employment was with Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.

She is survived by three sons, Gregory Daniels and DeAngelo Daniels both of Gulfport, Quinn Smith of Hattiesburg; special friend, Daniel Hathorn; mother, Connie (John) Barnes of Prentiss; father, Alfred (DeeDee) Barnes of Gulfport; three sisters and four brothers; goddaughters, Layla Williams and Yasmine Harris; three aunts, Joetta Price of Monticello, Katherine Barnes and Jessie (Harry) Barnes of Columbia; four uncles, Roy (Ruth) Daniels and Claudis Daniels of Columbia, Percy (Della) Daniels, Sr. and Jerry (Derenda) Daniels of Prentiss; best friend, Janice Williams; devoted friends, Cynthia Harris, Charlotte Hudson, Betty Magee and Yolanda Weathersby; many other relatives and friends.
