Thompson receives scholarship

Holley Cochran / The Prentiss Headlight—Logann Thompson has been awarded the Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus Scholarship Award. Logann is a 2015 graduate of Bassfield High School and will be entering the University of Southern Mississippi this fall majoring in elementary education. She is the daughter of Debbie Thompson and Terry Arnold. The MAS awards two seniors from each congressional district and two seniors at-large each year.  Winners were chosen based on their written essay about their county and knowledge of county, state and congressional officials.
