Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Victory Baptist Church in Bassfield, MS, for Mr. Shelby Ford Coulter who passed away August 3 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed at Double Church Cemetery in Bassfield, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Jeff Easterling officiated. Pallbearers were Chuck Holland, John Holland, Michael Holland, William King, Doug Baker and Ronnie Keys.

Shelby was born January 13, 1947, in Covington County Mississippi. He was the son of Dimple Coulter Kelly. He was a truck driver and a member of Orange Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Dimple Kelly of Bassfield, MS. three sisters, Rhonda Towne of Knoxville, TN, Donna Minor of Newberry Town, PA, and Catherine Bowen of Clayton, NC; a number of nieces and nephews; and Bridget Nicole Lee of Hattiesburg, MS.
