Funeral services were held Monday, September 14, 2015, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Gwendolyn Crowther Gomez, 76, who died Monday, September 7, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed on Friday, September 18, at Olivet Memoral Park Cemetery, Colma, California. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gwendolyn Gomez was born to the late Nevada Le’Noir Crowther and Artis Dawson Crother. She attended San Francisco public schools and San Francisco State College where she majored in Business Administration.

After college, she started working for Crocker Citizen National Bank and later worked for Bank of America in San Francisco, CA. She later worked for a private construction company in San Francisco.

She was married to Larry A. Gomez, Sr. who preceded her in death. They both attended Bayview Lutheran Church and were devoted members.

She is survived by: brother, Luther A. (Essie) Crowther; one uncle, Howard Crowther; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
