Funeral services for Mr. Rafus Louis Hall, 73, of Mount Olive, MS, were held on Friday, September 25 2015, at Point Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Mount Olive. Interment was in the church cemetery. Reverend Kenneth Hall officiated the service. Reeves Funeral Home of Mount Olive was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Hall passed away at his residence on September 21, 2015.

Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Ray Hall, Lavell Hall, Henry Leroy Hall, Zachary Hall, and Leroy Johnson. Active pallbearers were Dayana Hall, Dmitri Payton, Stephen Abram, Hendri Cook, Dwayne Hall, Foster Hawhorne, Ron Strickland, and Calvin Graves.

Mr. Hall was a lifelong member of Point Pleasant MB Church. He was educated in the Jefferson Davis County School System, Prentiss, MS. He worked various jobs and retired from Georgia Pacific.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Louis and Annie Elizabeth Strickland Hall; daughter, Mary Ann; sister, Jamie Payton; and brother, Bobby Dean.

Survivors include, his wife, Earnestine Johnson Hall; son, Reverend Kenneth Hall; two brothers, Henry Leroy (Annie) Hall and Lavell Hall; three sisters, Shirlie (Charles) Powell, Barbara Killings, and Deloris Cook; one brother-in-law, Roy (Betty) Johnson; two grandchildren, Marissa Hall and Zachary Hall; three aunts, Ada Gray, Lola May Gray, Bessie Little; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
