Funeral services were held Friday, October 30, 2015, at Saulters Moore funeral home in Prentiss, MS, for Peggy Joan Lee, age 79, who passed away on Wednesday October 28, at Merit Wesley Hospital in Hattiesburg, Ms.

Rev. Randy Gardner and Rev. David Buckley officiated. Pallbearers were Marvin Smith, Jimmy McPhail, John Hartfield, Keith King, Billy Delancey and Bobby Wilson. Saulters Moore of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Peggy was born on September 26, 1936, in Carson, MS, to Lowell and Annie Mae Garner. She attended MS. College and USM. She retired from Bassfield Elementary as a 1st grade teacher after 25 years of service. She was a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lee is survived by two sons, Thomas Scott Hatton (Jan) and William Jefferson Hatton both of Carson, MS; two granddaughters, Kristi Hatton of Hattiesburg, and Brandi Hatton of Petal; two great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Kennedy McCloud of Hattiesburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John S. Lee.
