The Jefferson Davis County Association of Wives Behind the Badge is an organization that gives support to Jefferson Davis County law enforcement organizations and their families. The group also includes fire departments and wildlife and fishery.

The JDC Wives Behind the Badge organizes a variety of events to bridge the gap between the community and those who serve it.

To date, they have raised over nine thousand dollars to assist law enforcement in Jefferson Davis County.

“The Extravaganza at the Prentiss Police Department, as well as the Trunk or Treat, were huge successes. We hope to continue these events and make them an annual tradition,” said Kristen Bullock, President of WBTB.

The group is in the process of planning futures events, and participated in the Bassfield Christmas Parade last Saturday.

Other officers in the group are Treasurer Jessica Jackson and Secretary Kayla Williams.

Wives Behind the Badge invites all wives and mothers of officers and firemen, active or retired, to be a part of their team.  See a member for details.
