Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Mae Thompson, 86, Collins, MS ( Rocky Valley Community) were held on December 7, 2015 from the Rocky Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Collins, MS. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pastor Andrew Keys officiated the services. Reeves Funeral Home, Inc., Mount Olive, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Thompson passed away on December 3, 2015 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.

Mrs. Thompson enjoyed socializing with family and friends and was a dedicated member of Rocky Valley MBC,
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Mollie Price Magee, two daughters, Hattie Jane Sullivan and Arzilla Durr; three brothers, Eli Magee, Arthur Magee, and John Magee, one sister Cynthia Elizabeth Magee.
Survivors include, 4 children, Dorothy(LC) Coleman, Sarah(Frank)Barnett, Charlie(Bernadine) Thompson, all of Collins, MS; Steven (Toshonda) Thompson, Prentiss, MS. One brother, Charles(Fannie) Magee, Collins, MS; 2 sisters, Hattie Barnes, Collins and Evelyn Nelson, Bassfield, MS; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
