Funeral Services were held Saturday December 5, 2015 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. O’Neal Hathorn, age 82, who passed away on December 2, 2015 at his residence in Carson, MS.  Interment followed in Prentiss Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Randy Gardner officiated.  Pallbearers were: Jimmy Hulsey, Tommy Hulsey, Dale Saulters, John Paul Saulters, Scott Tingle and Jeff Saulters

O’Neal was born December 26, 1932. He was the son of L. L. Hathorn and Ona Polk. He retired from the WIC program after 20 plus years and also retired as the Election Commissioner for beat 2 after many years of service. He was a former board member of Farm Bureau and a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hathorn and his daughter, Dana Smith both of Carson, MS

His granddaughter, Bridget Adcock of Bassfield, MS (Eric)

And his Sister, Wyndal Tingle of Weston, Texas.
