Funeral services were held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at China Lee M. B. Church, Silver Creek, Mississippi for Mr. Sonny Alphonce “Spoon” Fitzgerald Aultman, 41, who died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at his residence.  Rev. Tony Aultman officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr, Sonny Aultman was born to the late Alexander Fortenberry and Mrs. Janice Aultman Hooker.  He joined China Lee M. B. Church at an early age.

He enjoyed riding horses, riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers, playing basketball and nice cars.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Archie and Ida Fortenberry and maternal grandparents, Elam and Jerlene Aultman.
He is survived by: mother and step-father, Janice (Melvin) Hooker; four sisters, Erica Aultman of Prentiss, MS; Melissa (Alex) Antiohos of Washington, DC; Chassidy Stringer of Hattiesburg, MS and Stephanie Hooker of Flowood, MS; three nephews; three nieces; 1 great nephew. Special cousins, Charity Aultman, Matthew Aultman, Ronnie Aultman, Jr., Lacey Magee, Rashaan Aultman, Alyssia Johnson and special friend, Joanne Davis.
