Holley Cochran / The Prentiss Headlight—The Jefferson Davis County Board of Supervisors presented Johnny C. Hartzog with a proclamation at their last December board meeting. Hartzog served as Justice Court Judge for Jefferson Davis County for 38 years. When he began his service to JDC, the Justice of the Peace had their office in their home. “Judge Hartzog has served many years in the Justice Court system in Jefferson Davis County and will be greatly missed,” said Board President Bobby Rushing.
