Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Macedonia M. B. Church, Mt. Olive, Mississippi for Mr. Clevis Magee, 75, who died Monday, December 31, 2015 at his residence.  Rev. Clifton Preston, Jr., pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Clevis Magee was born to the late Eddie and Loudora Magee in Jefferson Davis County, MS.
He was a member of Macedonia M. B. Church.

He worked for Ingall’s Shipyard where he retired after twenty six and a half years of service.  After retirement, he was devoted to family, friends and church.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
He is survived by: wife, Ethel Magee; five children, Timothy (Shelia) Barnes, Marcus (Shirley) Magee, Gladis Magee, Willie (Jamie) Magee, Patrick Magee; brother, Earnest Magee, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
