For the first time, Prentiss High School has a robotics team and has been competing in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Program. The program is for students in grades 6-12.  This robotics team focuses around critical thinking skills and has given their robot the name L.B. (Low Budget). The team brought home three trophies from the first two competitions it participated in. Team members are (L to R): Terryuntae Griffin Programming Manager, Nasier King Documentary Manager, James Dyess Team Manager, and  Mary Gray Coach/Mentor/Team Founder. Not pictured: Sha’Tyre Adams, Iviona Smith, Corey Temple and Coach Wanda Ard. “We would love to get several other teams involved in this program,” said Gray.
