Funeral services were held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Prentiss First Missionary Baptist Church for Mr. Tuflesha Lashone Jackson, 40, who died Monday, February 15, 2016 at Jeff Davis Community Hospital.  Rev. Ronnie Barnes, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Tuflesha Jackson was born to Mrs. Kathy Jackson Loftin and the late Charles Loftin in Jackson, MS.  He joined Prentiss First Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where he served as Youth Usher and was a member of the Youth Choir.  He graduated from Prentiss High School in 1994 and later attended Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS.

He was a member of Shivers Lodge #458 F&AM. He worked at Mill Creek Rehabilitation and Howard Industries.
He was preceded in death by: grandparents, Robert and Anna Jackson, aunt, Janet Austin; uncle, Robert Jackson.

He is survived by: mother, Kathy Loftin; sister, Erica Loftin; brothers, Robert Loftin and Charles Loftin; step-siblings, Bernaldo Loftin, Shenita Williams, Travis and Corytito Brown, Shameka and Kentorre Hall and Kimyatta Collins, Godchildren, Zhai’ and Z’Laughn Holloway and many other relatives and friends.
