Funeral services were held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at South Pleasant Hill M. B. Church for Master Kadarious (K. J.) Jalan Xavier Gholar, 10, who died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital, Jackson, MS.  Rev. Robert Collins, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Master Kadarious Gholar was born at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Miss Mary Gholar.  He attended J. E. Johnson until 2013; he then had to be home schooled because of his illness.  He loved his super heroes and playing video games.  He touched many lives in his short 10 years on earth; more than most people in a lifetime.

He is survived by: mother, Mary Gholar; sister, Destini Gholar, maternal grandmother, Mary B. Gholar, maternal grandfather, Robert J. Gholar; aunt, Tiffany Booth and uncle, Robert C. Gholar; many relatives and friends.
