JaQuala Green of Bassfield High School has won a Bronze Medal in the ACT-SO Competition that was held Saturday, March 12th, at the F D Hall Music Center of Jackson State University. Green competed in the category of Business-Entrepreneur specific to her plan for Multiple Faceted Personal Care.

This year’s competition was in conjunction with the MS State Conference, Jackson City Council Branch, which reported a record of 121 registered high school participants from across the state. ACT-SO is an acronym for Afro-Academic Cultural Technological Scientific Olympics and is sponsored by the NAACP.
