Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at St. Paul M. B. Church, Silver Creek, Mississippi for Mrs. Louise Bryant Solomon, 76, who died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.  Rev. Phillip Clark, pastor, officiated. Interment was held Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Holisday Creek M. B. Church, Carson, Mississippi.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Louise Solomon was born to the late Samuel and Ardie Ree Bryant in Prentiss, Ms.  She was a member of Mt. Zion M. B. Church and attended J. E. Johnson Elementary and Mt. Carmel Rural School.  She was a homemaker.  She was married to the late James Lee Solomon and two children were born to this union.

Mrs. Solomon was preceded in death by: brother, Samuel Bryant, Jr.

She is survived by: daughters, Gwenda (Rev. Bobby) Bournes of Silver Creek, MS; Angela Solomon (Rev. Gregory) Keyes of Petal, MS; brother, James Bryant of Prentiss, MS; two sisters, Eloise Gray of Hattiesburg, MS and Marcedia Hall of Moss Point, MS; 4 grandchildren; special friends, Eddie (Leroy) Barnes and JaRhonda Barnes; many other relatives and friends.
