Funeral Services were held Saturday May 7, 2016 at New Hebron Baptist Church in New Hebron, MS for Mrs. Josephine Cole Price, age 98, who passed away on May 4, 2016 at the Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS.

Rev. Sonny Adkins, Rev. Mike Grenn, Rev. John Price and Rev. Philip Price conducted the services. Pallbearers were: Billy Blair, Scott Bryan, Tim Kerby, Barry McCool, Joe Earl McGuffee and Ryan McGuffee.  Honorary Pallbearers were: Carroll Berry, Mike Cooper, Bill Fraysier, Charner Little, Joe Riley, John Mark Riley, Sr. and Joe Vasko. Saulters Moore Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

Viola Josephine Cole Price was born on February 24, 1918 in New Hebron, MS. She graduated from New Hebron High School in 1936. After the death of her husband, she faithfully worked at New Hebron Manufacturing Company for approximately twenty years.

Mrs. Price is survived by her three children, Rev. Maxwell Cole Price of Magee, MS, Martha Price Kerby of Huber Heights, OH and Jimmy Lee Price of New Hebron, MS; Five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Maxwell Price; her parents, Joe A. and Mattie Lee Cole of New Hebron, MS; her siblings, John Wilson Cole, Thelma Beatrice Cole Robinson, Ruby Lee Cole McGuffee, Pauline “Polly” Cole Pope and an infant sister. Online condolences and a guest registry are available atwww.saultersmoorefuneralhome.com
