You might have seen a new face on the streets of Prentiss recently. Gary Bounds has joined the Prentiss Police Department. Bounds comes to Prentiss from the Columbia Police Department and  started his law enforcement career with the Covington County Sheriff’s Department five years ago. He is currently part-time certified and will be attending the Police Academy soon.

Bounds is from Petal has been on the force for two weeks and is excited about being in Prentiss. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve this community, and will do so to the best of my ability,” said Bounds.
