A memorial service for Mr. John Terrell Daniel will be held on May 30, 2016 at 1:00pm at Oak Vale Baptist Church with inurnment being at the church cemetery. There will be a memorial gathering visitation prior to the service from 11:00 to 1:00pm.

John Terrell Daniel, 75, of Oakvale, passed away May 27, 2016 at Marion General Hospital in Columbia, MS.

He was born on February 22, 1941 to J.W. Daniel and Yvonne Grice Daniel.
Mr. Daniel was served as a United States National Guardsmen for over 8 years. He also worked as a parts saleman and was a member of Oakvale Baptist Church. He also was part of the Masonic Lodge, Shiners Organization and Woodman of the World.

Preceding him in death was his parents; brother, Vernon Duane Daniel.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Peggy Thurman Daniel; daughter, Debbie Daniel Speights and husband Ricky; brother, Delos Ray Daniel and wife Diane and sister, Betty Daniel Durr and husband Bobby. Mr. Daniel is also survived by two grandchildren, Brandi Speights Cook and husband Cullen and John Ryan Speights and wife Amarette along with one great grandson, Caysen Daniel Cook.
